How do I get a
library card?
 |
To apply for a
library card bring photo identification with proof of Wilson County residence to
the Library.
|
 |
An annual fee of
$10.00 is charged for all non-residents joining the Library.
|
 |
If a patron loses
his/her library card, there is a $3.00 fee to replace it.
|
 |
Children age 5
through 17 may receive library cards with a parent or guardian's signature.
|
Borrowing
Materials
 |
Only 1 item may
be checked out on a patron's first visit to the Library. |
 |
Library cards
hold up to 25 items at once. |
 |
Videos will not
be checked out to anyone under age 18. |
 |
Patrons must
present their library card to check out materials. |
Loan Periods
 |
7 days for
videos. |
 |
2 weeks for
books and audio books. |
Renewing Library
Materials
 |
Patrons may
call,
e-mail, or visit the Library to renew materials. |
 |
Materials may be
renewed for the regular loan period. |
 |
Materials will
not be renewed if another patron has placed a reserve on the item. |
Fines
 |
The late fee for
books and audio books is $0.10 per day. |
 |
Videos have a
late fee of $1.00 per day. |
Internet
Access
 |
Internet Access
is available to all patrons in good standing with the Library. |
 |
Patrons must
sign the Internet Access Agreement before using the internet. |
 |
Patrons under
age 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the Parental Permission Form before
using the internet. |
 |
Children under
age 12 must have parental supervision while using the internet. |
